What is something you wish someone had told you about starting a company?
Be Prepared and Be Open to Evolving. Your Vision will change with time as you grow. Don’t force your own vision as it needs to be flexible within your market. If you glide with your customers’ needs the evolution of your business will be easier to adapt to and grow from.
What advice would you give to a woman who is considering starting her own business?
Your relationships are everything. Focus on Building great relationships that are centered around loyalty within your community.
What’s the best career advice you ever received?
Hard work goes a long way…You need to be willing and able to get your own hands dirty if you are going to ask or expect someone else to. Before you hire out or delegate anything, make sure you know how to do it yourself so you understand what you are asking or hiring someone else to do.
What do you love about running your own business?
You can make it a good day or you can make it a bad day…its All Up to You.
Who inspires you as a business woman?
I am inspired by someone that has a million things going on but you would Never Know because when that person is in front of you, you are the most important thing going on, to them.
How do you stay motivated through difficult times?
You get out of what you put into Anything. Just knowing, as a business owner there is Always something more that can be done is my motivation.
If you weren’t running your business, what would you be doing?
I would be hanging out with my Mom.
Fill in the blank:
1. Favorite Quote: You Believe, You Shall Receive.
2. The best lesson I ever learned: You can’t do everything yourself but at the same time you can’t delegate everything.
3. The bravest thing I’ve ever done: Was letting go of the idea “I can do everything myself” and trusting others with my visions to allow my business to grow.
4. My greatest fear: I don’t want to write this out because I don’t want to manifest it. I don’t like to focus on my fears.
5. My top 3 guilty pleasures:
-I have a serious Furniture and Home Décor Addiction
-I Love a good Mid Day Nap
-Girls Night
